Ahsha N. Tribble, Ph.D., is a former member of the Senior Executive Service (SES) with over two decades of experience in national security policy, crisis management and communications, scientific research and development, and emergency operations. Her career spans multiple Presidential Administrations, including senior leadership positions on the White House National Security Council where she led the development and release of Presidential policies for Critical Infrastructure Security and Resilience, National Special Security Events, and Chemical Facilities Safety and Security.
Dr. Tribble served as Deputy Regional Administrator for FEMA Regions II and IX, leading teams of hundreds of emergency management professionals across states including California, New York, Nevada, Arizona, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Pacific Territories. She was awarded the FEMA Administrator's Award for Emergency Management in 2018. Prior to FEMA, she served as Senior Advisor to the Energy Secretary at the U.S. Department of Energy and held leadership positions at NOAA, including as the first Executive Officer at the National Hurricane Center.
Today, she is the lead consultant at Arc Dome Strategies, advising on emergency management, renewable energy, and strategic communications.
